Most of a villa’s pipes end up buried inside walls and under floors, where they can’t be checked once the finishes go on. So we test every line before we close it. This page sets out how Falcon installs and tests a villa’s water supply and drainage.
Water supply
PPR pipes with heat-fused joints.

Drainage
uPVC drainage pipes, laid to the correct slopes down to the manholes.

Pipes through concrete and walls
Where pipes pass through concrete, they run through sleeves. We also keep joints out of buried sections wherever we can.
Testing before we cover anything
- First, we hold water supply lines at pressure for 48 hours before the walls close.
- Then we test every drainage line with water for flow before we cover it.

Who checks it
Every Falcon project has a dedicated site engineer. The site engineer inspects and signs off each stage, followed by the client’s consultant if there is one, before the next trade starts. The work follows the Saudi Building Code, the approved drawings and the manufacturer’s instructions.
Questions to ask any contractor
- What pipes will you use for the water supply, and how will you join them?
- How long is the pressure test on the water lines?
- Will you test every drainage line before you cover it?
